About Me.
Welcome to Verve Nepal.
Hi! I am Niraj Malla Thakuri. My journey to creating Verve Nepal started over a decade ago. For 10 years, I lived and worked abroad in Qatar and Denmark, gaining experiences that completely shaped how I welcome guests and share my home country with the world.
During my five years in Doha, Qatar, working as a receptionist and night auditor for the Grand Suite Hotel, RQH, and MPH, I mastered the art of high-standard hospitality and developed deep cultural insights while caring for international travelers around the clock.
Later in Denmark, I gained a new perspective on life while working at Lagkagehuset, rising from a machine operator’s helper to a dough master. There, I connected with countless travelers who dreamed of trekking the Himalayas. However, many hesitated because they couldn’t find an agency that truly matched their vibe—a team that felt personal, welcoming, and genuine rather than commercial.
Driven by a passion to fill that gap, I returned home to Nepal. I spent time exploring our incredible landscapes on my own, earned my official Trekking Guide License, and dedicated myself to promoting local tourism. Today, my mission is to share Nepal’s breathtaking nature, vibrant culture, rich spirituality, and stunning landscapes with visitors from all over the globe.

We did Manaslu circuit on October. Niraj arranged a date perfectly so that we can witness local’s historical and traditional dance on our acclimatization day. Guides are very thoughtful, kept monitoring our oxygen level and got us nice accommodations.
